Mark's Boxing Success
Dungloe A.B.C. boxer, Mark Mc Cole, was a member of the Ulster Boys' Boxing Team that participated in an international boxing tournament in Denmark last weekend. And it proved to be an occasion to remember for the young Dungloe boxer. Mark got a bye in the semi-final and got the better of his English opponent in the final to win the HSK Cup. Congratulations are in order to the young Dungloe boxer with the proud boxing name and we look forward to many more successes for him in the future. Well done, Mark !

Christmas Shoe Box Appeal If you are interested in giving a Shoe box filled with small gifts this year for children in war stricken countries please contact Anne Ferry, Annagry. Telephone 9548340 for leaflets and more info. Your gift filled shoe box will enable us to give a brighter Christmas to children who have so little in life. All boxes must be returned by Fri 5th November 2010 to ensure delivery in time for Christmas.

Dungloe Junior Band is holding “The Rosses Got Talent Competition” in Dungloe starting the 22nd Oct till 3rd Dec. All ages welcome. Anyone interested in competing must enter by 15th Oct by contacting Deirdre 0876218328.

Calling all Unemployed Do you want to do something different? Ionad Teampaill Chróine in conjunction with Donegal VEC is going to run a course in Tourism leading to a Fetac level 3 qualification in general learning. This will open up many doors from starting your business to the chance of progressing to other tourism courses. The Meenacross Agricultural Show 50th Anniversary Celebrations continue with the official launch of the 50th anniversary DVD and book on the 12th November in the social centre Mennacross. Further details to follow closer to the time

Sean Scoil Traigheanach: Oíche Airneail ‘san Sean Scoil: A night of traditional music, song and dance will be held on Friday 29th October 2010.Commencing at 9pm.Tea will be served.Cead Isteach €5.

Cloughwally Country Market: held every Sat from 11.30am to 1.30pm until 1st of Nov. It will continue in Mar 2011. We would like to thank everybody who supported us throughout the season. No market on Sat 23rd Oct due to basketry class.

VEC-Adult Education: Challenge yourself! Leaving Cert Maths 2 year programme starting 20/10/2010 7-9pm in Adult Education Centre, Gortahork. One evening per week. A few spaces left. No fee.

Rosses NYP: Running an international Youth Leadership Initiative for teens to encourage skills to improve society through action projects. Great opportunity and excellent for your CV.
