FORBAIRT NA ROSANN welcomes the news that the Dungloe Sewerage Scheme is to go to tender. After many years of consultation & lobbying this much awaited scheme in the area is finally getting the green light. The local development group hope that the work will commence before the summer.

CRABBITT CRABS – CRUMLIN HOSPITAL FUNDRAISERS The Crabbitt crabs fundraising committee would like to give a sincere “Thank You” to everyone who got involved in this years fundraisers for Crumlin childrens hospital. A total of €3654 was lodged this week to the hospital account, the sum of which was raised through the local new years swim - €3044 and a disco which was held in the Lobster pot in Burtonport - €610. The committee would in particular like to thank Anne, Tim and their staff at the lobster pot for their hard work and support on both occasions and to DJ Tubs who was fantastic on Disco night.

ST PATRICKS DAY COMMUNITY CELEBRATIONS A meeting will be held at the community centre in Burtonport this Sunday eve at 8, to begin planning our now Annual St Patricks Day Celebration which will be held in the community centre on St Patrick's day. If you have some free time on your hands and think you might be able to help, please come along and lend a hand.

WIDOWS GROUP has a temporary venue in Cois Locha on Gweedore Rd. The meetings remain the same once a fortnight on Sat afternoons at 2pm. New members welcome. If anyone would like a programme please ring 9542077 or 9551594
