LETTER TO ALL Villages and Rural Dwellers in the Rosses area

A chara,

As part of our efforts to tackle the very severe economic situation in which this area finds itself, Forbairt na Rossan is leading the production of a social and economic development plan. We recognise that the town of Dungloe and the villages within the Rosses are dependent on each other and so we are proposing to produce a plan for Dungloe and all of the villages in the Rosses.

We are fortunate to have been approached by Frank Dolaghan who has over 30 years experience in local and social and economic development all over Ireland and abroad and who has a second home in the area at Ardcrone between Dungloe and Loughanure. Frank is donating his time to us and has designed with us a programme geared towards producing a plan by September.

We are keen to involve all the villages right at the start of the project and so we are inviting you to a special meeting at 8pm on Friday 11th June in Ionad Teampall Chróine, Chapel Road, Dungloe, where Frank will outline his proposals and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. We hope then that your
village will engage fully with the production of the plan.

Please let me know if you can attend and we look forward to seeing you on Friday 11th.
Le meas mór
